Crypto is not an investment

I’m disappointed in how many people view cryptocurrency as an investment and something to make money off of when the real benefit it provides is far more valuable.

Monero is anonymous, private money giving people freedom from banks and governments. This is its real value.

I suppose I’m not against people acquiring cryptocurrency for investment reasons because at least they’re still getting into it, but it’s not the most important reason.

Furthermore, non privacy coins are worse than regular fiat and to only dabble in these pretty much completely defeats the whole motivation behind the idea.
